Black tanks connected by orange pipelines. The etoy.TANK-SYSTEM was a double surrealism, a physical representation of the digital metaphor. This linear and material structure consisted of orange pipes and black tanks spread over 400 m2. Each tank was in itself sculpture with digital or new media functions, i.e. a screen with a animation of the 7 etoy.AGENTS faces morphing into each other or the duty-check, where each agent logged food, sex, drugs, and other habits over a period of 6 months into the machine. The data was visualized with graphs and numbers.
