12.11.99 Those purveyors of prozac sabotage, etoy, have experienced and taste of their own medicine as number 16 of the largest US online commerce corporations, eToys.com, is suing them from the net.

The "digital hijack" artists have been on the list since the beginning of time and have keep us regularly amused with their subliminal messages of corporate reasoning. eToys Inc. (with the "s") asserts that they are “unhappy that US kids could get confused and exposed to those bad guys from Europe.” Shock horror … family values are at stake; Xmas shopping harmony and American capital against net art.

The first hearing in the case took place last Monday [8th November] at the United States district court / central district of California, where a jury had to decide on the preliminary blocking of the domain www.etoy.com. We haven’t heard the out come, but the site is still up, so we take it that the right side won.
